INFORMATION ABOUT MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR SURVEY PLATS
Section 1403(b) of Title 27 of the Vermont Statutes Annotated charged the Commissioner of General Services (currently Department of Building and General Services) with issuing required material specifications for survey plats. Act 91 of 2010 repealed the requirement that plats be filed, stored, and maintained in a manner prescribed by a State entity. Therefore survey plat material specifications are no longer prescribed by the State of Vermont and any specifications issued by State of Vermont are no longer in effect.
