iSTART Collaboration

Information Strategies: Taskforce on Archives, Records, and Technology (iSTART) is a volunteer collaborative group whose membership is comprised of representatives from the Vermont State Archives, Vermont Department of Information and Innovation (DII), and the Vermont Department of Buildings and General Services (BGS). iSTART is strongly supported by Vermont Secretary of State, Deborah Markowitz, Vermont Chief Information Officer, Tom Murray, and Commissioner of Buildings and General Services, Gerry Myers.

iSTART is a unique and exciting alliance that provides a forum for identifying and addressing common concerns and offering consistent advice on records and information management, including electronic records. Public agencies and employees are encouraged to share their questions, concerns, and experiences with iSTART and assist with developing and implementing strategies for managing our State's information assets.
