"RIGHT TO KNOW" DATABASE

The Right to Know database is resource tool for locating and identifying laws that affect access to Vermont public records. The database is currently being developed and is in a beta (testing) phase. This site, therefore, is expected to change in the upcoming months as new content and searching capabilities are added. In addition to being an online database, the Right to Know database is connected to the State Archives' appraisal database, which is used to assist public agencies in the development of records inventories, records policies, and records retention and disposition schedules. (For more information, see: Records Appraisal Program.)
