Publication Calculator
This page is designed to help agencies determine when to schedule hearings based upon timelines established by the Administrative Procedures Act (3 V.S.A. Chapter 25).
To use the database please enter the expected submission date (the date you intend to file the proposed rule with the Office of the Secretary of State), using the format m/d/yyyy. (Please note if you enter a date that falls on an invalid filing day such as a Saturday or Sunday the report will return zero records).
If a larger range of dates is desired, you may enter a submission month and year. Make sure to spell out the name of the month, abbreviations will not work (please note that you may get results from multiple years unless you specify a year as well). Please enter all 4 digits of the year to view the results.
The publication of administrative rules is changing effective July 1, 2010 ~
Rules received from June 28 through July 2, 2010 will be published as if they were received as of July 1 in accordance with the new statutory changes.
Changes from Act 146 of 2010, include mandated posting of the full notice of rulemaking online and a single publication of an abbreviated notice in the newspapers of record. The act also amends the hearing timeframe. Hearings shall be held no sooner than 30 days from the date the notice is posted online. The publication calculator below has been populated with data that will take effect the week of July 1.
