| Title: | Grafton, Vermont. | |
| Details: | Note attached to original lotting map: Here's the xerox copy of that 12x16 lot map of Grafton. The map must date to 1780 or earlier as Cumberland County, referred to on the map, went out of existence in early 1781. I haven't yet, but will be contacting Norm Greene at Forests and Parks Department regarding this map. Thanks for enlightening me about its significance. *It's apparently a more authentic rendering of Grafton lotting than the one which Forests and Parks has, which shows only 12x12 lots. Bob Hagerman, Secretary of State's Office. Note on reverse: Caused to be filed in this office August 31, 1937 by Horace Brown of Springfield, Vermont. Signed Rawson C. Myrick, Secretary of State. | |
