PSB Rule 5.600 - Electric Service Extension Policy.

AGENCY: Public Service Board

CONCISE SUMMARY: Proposed Rule 5.600 establishes a general policy governing the extension of electric distribution services to retail electric customers. Proposed Rule 5.600 applies to all single-phase and multiphase electric distribution service extension by Vermont electric utilities as defined by 30 V.S.A. Sections 201 and 203.

TYPE OF PERSONS AFFECTED: Vermont electric utilities as defined by 30 V.S.A. Sections 201 and 203, retail electric service customers, Private Contractors hired by retail customers.

COST BENEFIT ANALYSIS: Implementation of the proposed Rule 5.600 is not anticipated to result in any additional costs.
