Changes to Pharmaceutical Programs Premiums.

Vermont Proposed Rule: 06P009 

AGENCY: Dept. for Children and Families (DCF) 

CONCISE SUMMARY: This rule increases monthly health care premiums by $2 to $7 for individuals receiving pharmaceutical program benefits. 

TYPE OF PERSONS AFFECTED: DCF Economic Services Division health care assistance applicants and beneficiaries. 

COST BENEFIT ANALYSIS: total estimated annual increased revenues are $540,504.

SCHEDULED HEARINGS: April 17, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. in the Agency of Human Services' Blue Room, State Office Complex, Waterbury, Vermont.

DEADLINE FOR PUBLIC COMMENT: April 24, 2006.

2006 Moose Season - Regulation #999

Vermont Proposed Rule: 06P010

AGENCY: Natural Resources, Fish & Wildlife Dept.

CONCISE SUMMARY: Establishes criteria for implementing a Moose Hunting Season.

TYPE OF PERSONS AFFECTED: General public, resident and non-resident hunters, landowners and retail businesses.

COST BENEFIT ANALYSIS: If 2,230 permittees and subpermittees participate in the 2006 moose season, 222 of which would be non-residents, the benefits to small businesses are estimated to be at least $1,141,524.  costs to the Department of Fish and Wildlife for administration and enforcement of the hunt is estimated to cost $70,000 (printing, postage, equipment and labor).  Benefits from the sale of moose permits and applications is estimated at over $300,000.
