Elimination of Medicaid Coverage for Prescription Drugs used to Treat Erectile or Sexual Dysfunction.

Vermont Proposed Rule: 06P006 

AGENCY: Human Services 

CONCISE SUMMARY: State Medicaid coverage of drugs used to treat sexual or erectile dysfunction is terminated.  

TYPE OF PERSONS AFFECTED: State Medicaid beneficiaries, State Medicaid prescribers, pharmacists, Community of Vermont Elders, AARP - Vermont Chapter, Council on Aging, and the Office of Vermont Health Access. 

COST BENEFIT ANALYSIS: The elimination of M812.1 shall result in the State of Vermont saving an average of $26,681.00 per year. 

SCHEDULED HEARINGS: April 3, 2006, 1:00 p.m., Economic Services Large Conference Room, Building A, Top Floor, Agency for Human Services complex, Waterbury, VT.
