PROPOSED STATE RULES


By law, public notice of proposed rules must be given by publication in newspapers of record. The purpose of these notices is to give the public a chance to respond to the proposals. Motor Vehicle Arbitration Board Rule

Vermont Proposed Rule: 06P001 

AGENCY: Transportation 

CONCISE SUMMARY: The Motor Vehicle Arbitration Board rule has been streamlined form the 1985 version.  The fine-tuning presents concise topics that support program procedure and interpretation.  Most sections duplicating the statute have been deleted. 

TYPE OF PERSONS AFFECTED: The rule will affect consumers as defined by 9 V. S. A. § 4171(2) and manufacturers (9 V. S. A. § 4171(7)). 

COST BENEFIT ANALYSIS: No economic impact is foreseen by implementing the rule. 

SCHEDULED HEARINGS: A public hearing has been scheduled for February 8, 2006 from 1 P.M. - 3 P.M. in the Pavilion's 4th floor large conference room at 109 State Street, Montpelier. 

DEADLINE FOR PUBLIC COMMENT: February 22, 2006.
