Vermont Use of Public Waters Rules - 2004 Proposed

AGENCY: Vermont Water Resources Board
CONCISE SUMMARY: The proposed amendments consist of: (1) a rule requested by petition that would prohibit the use of internal combustion motors on Mirror Lake in the Town of Calais; and (2) a rule requested by petition that would modify the portions of the rules pertaining to use and operation of personal watercraft, or any other Class A vessel which uses an inboard engine powering a water jet pump, on Lake Willoughby in the Town of Westmore.
SCHEDULED HEARINGS: Tuesday, August 3, 2004, 7:00 p.m., Calais Town Hall, Gospel Hollow, Calais, Vermont and Tuesday, August 24, 2004, 7:00 p.m, Westmore Community Church Fellowship Hall, Hinton Hill Road, Westmore, Vermont.
